Sunday, June 13th will mark the “Swings for Strings” Golf Tournament presented by Sunriver Resort. This charity event will raise funds which will benefit the Sunriver Music Festival and the Sunriver Area Chamber of Commerce.
Among the events will be a free golf clinic at 10:00 a.m. with Golf Magazine Top 100 instructor Shawn Humphries, a Buffet lunch at 11:00 a.m., and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start “scramble format” for the event. The event includes 18 holes, cart, buffet lunch, and post-event reception and awards. To add to the excitement this year’s “Swings for Strings” will also feature a Nike Demo Day, tee prizes and fun par 3 competitions!
The cost for the event is $125 player entry or $100 for Crosswater Club & Sunriver Resort Club Members. As an added bonus, those who register will receive a full weekend of affordable golf at Sunriver Resort’s Meadows & Woodland Courses. Discounted fee of $50 two days prior to and one day following the Tournament (Includes cart and range balls); which is a great deal for non-members!
